While Marylanders wait for more COVID-19 vaccines, the state has opened four mass vaccination sites, as the counties and Baltimore city are holding their own appointments and clinics to help get residents vaccinated.
Gov. Larry Hogan announced that the state health department with the Maryland National Guard will open six mass vaccination sites in coming weeks so that once more doses of the vaccines arrive in the state, people can get easily vaccinated. A mass vaccination site opened at Six Flags America on Feb. 5. The Baltimore Convention Center opened up soon after and M&T Bank Stadium opened on February 25. A fourth site opened in southern Maryland on March 4.
